Last Updated: 20 September 2026

Thank you for purchasing RatRepel products. We are committed to providing reliable ultrasonic rodent-repellent solutions.

This Warranty Policy explains the warranty coverage, exclusions, claim process, and conditions applicable to RatRepel products purchased through ratfall.com or through authorized sales channels.

1. Warranty Coverage

RatRepel products are covered against verified manufacturing defects occurring under normal and recommended usage conditions during the applicable warranty period.

Warranty Period

Unless a different warranty period is specifically stated on the applicable product page, invoice, order confirmation, or warranty documentation:

  • RatRepel products: 1-Year Limited Warranty
  • Accessories, adapters, cables, and other accessories: No warranty unless specifically stated otherwise.

The warranty period begins from the original date of delivery or the date specified on the applicable invoice or warranty documentation.

The warranty applies only to the product or unit covered by the original purchase.

2. What Is Covered

Subject to inspection and verification, the warranty may cover manufacturing defects such as:

  • Internal circuit malfunction caused by a manufacturing defect;
  • Failure of the device under normal recommended operating conditions;
  • Manufacturing-related power or electrical component defects;
  • Speaker or ultrasonic transducer malfunction caused by a manufacturing defect;
  • Other functional defects determined to have originated during manufacturing.

If a manufacturing defect is verified, RatRepel may, at its discretion and subject to applicable law:

  • Repair the product;
  • Replace the product;
  • Provide an equivalent replacement; or
  • Provide another appropriate remedy permitted under applicable law.

3. What Is Not Covered

The warranty does not generally cover damage or failure resulting from:

  • Physical damage, breakage, cracks, or impact;
  • Water or moisture exposure where the product is not specifically designed for such exposure;
  • Burnt components caused by unsuitable voltage or external electrical conditions;
  • Voltage fluctuation or power-supply problems;
  • Improper installation;
  • Incorrect wiring or connections;
  • Reverse-polarity connection;
  • Unauthorized modification or alteration;
  • Unauthorized repair attempts;
  • Damage caused by rodents, insects, pets, or external objects;
  • Fire, accidents, impact, or negligence;
  • Use contrary to supplied instructions;
  • Use with incompatible power sources or electrical systems;
  • Normal wear and tear;
  • Cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality;
  • Damage caused during customer handling or transportation;
  • Damage caused by third-party installation or repair;
  • Any other damage resulting from misuse or external factors rather than a manufacturing defect.

4. Rodent Damage Is Not Covered

The RatRepel warranty covers eligible manufacturing defects in the device itself.

It does not cover damage caused by rodents, including:

  • Vehicle wiring damage;
  • Engine damage;
  • Cable damage;
  • Property damage;
  • Damage to stock or inventory;
  • Food damage;
  • Repair expenses;
  • Towing expenses;
  • Mechanic or electrician charges.

RatRepel is designed to help reduce or discourage rodent activity. It does not guarantee complete prevention of rodent entry, nesting, or damage.

5. Product Performance Disclaimer

RatRepel uses ultrasonic deterrent technology intended to help reduce rodent activity.

However, no ultrasonic repellent or electronic pest-control device can guarantee 100% prevention or elimination of rodents in every environment.

Results may vary depending on factors including:

  • Rodent activity and infestation level;
  • Rodent behavior;
  • Area size and layout;
  • Installation and product placement;
  • Food and water availability;
  • Entry points;
  • Sanitation and hygiene;
  • Surrounding environmental conditions;
  • Obstacles affecting ultrasonic sound;
  • Continuous and appropriate operation.

Product performance or rodent-control results are therefore not considered a manufacturing defect by themselves.

6. Warranty Claim Process

To request warranty assistance, customers should contact RatRepel Support and provide, where applicable:

  • Order ID or invoice;
  • Registered mobile number or email address;
  • Clear photographs of the product;
  • Video showing the reported issue, if requested;
  • Description of the problem;
  • Installation and usage details, if relevant.

Additional information may be requested where reasonably necessary to evaluate the claim.

Warranty requests should be submitted during the applicable warranty period.

7. Inspection & Verification

All warranty claims are subject to technical inspection and verification.

RatRepel may request the product to be returned for inspection.

After inspection, RatRepel may determine whether the issue is:

  • A covered manufacturing defect;
  • Damage caused by misuse or external circumstances;
  • Normal wear and tear; or
  • Another condition excluded under this Warranty Policy.

Where a manufacturing defect is verified, RatRepel may repair or replace the product, or provide another remedy as permitted by applicable law.

Where the claim is not covered, the warranty request may be rejected.

8. Replacement Products

Where a replacement is approved, the replacement may be:

  • The same model;
  • An equivalent model; or
  • Another appropriate replacement determined by RatRepel, subject to availability.

A replacement product does not automatically create a new warranty period. Unless otherwise stated, the applicable warranty period continues from the original purchase/delivery date.

9. Warranty Return Shipping

If RatRepel requires the product to be returned for warranty inspection:

  • The customer may be required to arrange and pay for return shipping.
  • The product must be packed securely to prevent damage during transportation.
  • RatRepel is not responsible for damage caused by inadequate or unsafe packaging during customer-arranged return shipping.

If a different shipping arrangement is specifically provided by RatRepel for a particular warranty claim, that arrangement will apply to that claim.

10. Warranty Void or Ineligible Conditions

Warranty coverage may be denied where permitted by applicable law if inspection shows that the product has:

  • Been opened or tampered with;
  • Been repaired without authorization;
  • Been physically damaged;
  • Been exposed to water or moisture contrary to product specifications;
  • Been burnt or electrically damaged due to an unsuitable external power source;
  • Had wires or connectors cut, modified, or damaged;
  • Been installed incorrectly;
  • Been used with an incompatible power source;
  • Been modified or altered;
  • Been used for an unintended purpose;
  • Been damaged through accident, negligence, misuse, or external circumstances.

11. Proof of Purchase

Proof of purchase may be required to process a warranty claim.

Acceptable proof may include an order confirmation, invoice, or other purchase documentation issued through an authorized sales channel.

The warranty generally applies
